Nap Worth Painting: Meet Sebastion

Meet Sebastion, a sweet 14 year-old Siamese cat . I recently had the joy of painting his commissioned portrait, and I completely fell in love with this endearing, peaceful moment his family captured of him fast asleep on this bright pink blanket. (Honestly, it gave me the perfect excuse to break out my favorite Daniel SmithOpera Pink paint!)

It’s these quiet, cozy glimpsesthat make a keepsake painting so special—a way to treasure the “shhh, don’t wake them” moments we share with our loyal companions.

Every painting has a story—especially a 14-year-old Siamese on a pink blanket.

New In The Studio: The Life of a Cat Series

From the playful pounce to the quiet nap, my latest watercolor series explores the curiosity and silliness that makes cats such a gift. These three poses (only two shown here), set against soft blue washes, were inspired by the daily antics of my own studio buddies—especially Ki-Lani, who loves to “help” by walking directly across my palette.

I invite you to explore these captured moments and find a gentle reminder of the cuddly personalities we share our homes with.

Meet the real-life muses behind the brushstrokes.

Capture Your Companion’s Story

Every pet has a unique soul—from the ‘rumbly-tumbly’ energy of a kitten to the peaceful wisdom of a senior companion. I would love to help you celebrate the special bond you share with a soulful, hand-painited portrait that honors their spirit and slows your heart every time you pass it.
