How can I contact you?

4

You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

  • Shipping, Tracking & Insurance

    • The Process:
To ensure every piece is handled with the care it deserves, please allow 3–5 business days for processing before your order ships. This time allows me to hand-sign your prints, assemble your professional matting, and package everything securely.

    • Shipping & Tracking:
All orders are shipped with a tracking number, which will be emailed to you as soon as your package is on its way.

    • Insurance:
Standard shipping includes $100 of insurance (USPS Priority). If you are purchasing high-value artwork and would like to add additional insurance for total peace of mind, please contact me before checkout. I can send you a direct invoice with a payment link for any additional insurance fees.

    • USA Shipping Only:
At this time, Amy Boardman Art only ships within the United States. I offer Free Shipping on all orders over $150.00.

  • Returns & Replacements

    • What if my art arrives damaged?
While I take great care in packaging, transit damage is out of my control. If there is a problem with the delivery, please take photos of the packaging and the art and email them to me within 48 hours of receipt so we can work out a solution.

    • Replacements (Prints vs. Originals):
Prints, stickers, and greeting cards are replaceable if damaged. However, Original Paintings are unique, one-of-a-kind creations. If an original is lost or damaged, I can paint a replacement closely styled to the first. Because of the nature of watercolor (which is less forgiving than acrylic), it will not be an exact replica and will require additional time to create.

    • Print on Demand (POD):
Products fulfilled by my printing partners (like mugs or apparel) are non-refundable. If there is a printing error or shipping damage, send photos within 48 hours and I will contact the printer to get a replacement sent to you.

    • Address Accuracy:
Please double-check your shipping address. I am not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrectly provided address. If a package is returned to me, the buyer is responsible for additional shipping costs to resend.

  • Commission Policies

    • Payment & Cancellations:
I require 100% upfront payment for all commissions.

      • 100% Refund: Within 24 hours of ordering.

      • 50% Refund: If canceled during the planning/drawing phase (before painting begins).

      • No Refunds: Once the painting process has started.

    • The Creative Process:
You are allowed two minor tweaks (small color shifts or tiny details) during the painting phase. Major changes that require starting over (like a new pose) will be treated as a new commission and charged accordingly.

  • Copyright & Rights

    • Ownership:
All rights are reserved to Amy Boardman. The purchase of a print or original does not transfer reproduction rights. Reselling, modifying, or removing the artist's name is strictly prohibited. I retain the right to use images of all work for marketing, promotion, and selling prints.

  • The Amy Boardman Art Promise

    • In a world rushing by, art helps us pause long enough to remember what matters most. I am always willing to work with you to resolve issues. My goal is for you to cherish your art, and I will do my best to find a fair solution for everyone involved.

  • Art Care & Installation

    • How should I display my new art?
To cherish your painting for years to come, it is best to hang it away from direct sunlight and avoid areas with high humidity (like a bathroom). While watercolor pigments are vibrant, long-term exposure to UV rays can cause them to fade over time.

    • What kind of glass should I use for framing?
For my Open Edition prints, standard glass or acrylic works beautifully. For Limited Editions, I recommend using UV-protective glass to ensure your investment stays as bright as the day it was painted.

    • How do I clean my painting?
If your matted print or original art needs a light cleaning, use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth or a clean makeup brush to gently whisk away dust. Never use water, cleaning sprays, or chemicals on the surface of the art.

  • Materials & Quality

    • What kind of materials do you use?
As an artist at Amy Boardman Art, I use professional-grade watercolors (Daniel Smith), Acylics (Golden), Watercolor Paper (Arches) and Primed Canvas.

    • Do your prints look like the originals?
Yes! My prints capture the delicate textures and vibrant washes of the original watercolor. While some colors may vary slightly due to your monitor's settings, the physical print is designed to reflect the same beauty as the original.

  • Gift Services

    • Can I send this as a gift?
Absolutely! Art is a wonderful way to help someone pause and reflect. I am happy to include a handwritten gift note and exclude the invoice from the package. Simply leave your message in the "Notes" section at checkout.
