    Each piece of art is packaged securely with care, including insurance and a tracking number. Once your order has shipped, you'll receive an email notification with the tracking details.

    For U.S. orders, I ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. While I currently ship nationwide within the United States, I'm exploring options to offer international shipping in the future. Please note that international orders may incur customs, duty, or tax fees, which will not be covered by the shipping cost.

    Please be aware that delivery times may be affected by factors such as carrier delays, inclement weather (especially snow and ice in Alabama), and other unforeseen circumstances. I will keep you informed if any delays occur beyond the standard timeframe.

    • Custom Commissions: Processing times vary based on the complexity and size of the artwork. An estimated timeline will be provided during our consultation.

    I offer the following shipping options through my Squarespace store:

    • Flat Rate Shipping: A fixed shipping cost per order.

    • Weight-Based Shipping: Shipping costs calculated based on the total weight of your order.

    • Carrier-Calculated Shipping: Real-time shipping rates from USPS, UPS, or FedEx, based on package weight, dimensions, and destination. This option is available for U.S. orders and requires the Commerce Advanced plan.

    If you have a preferred carrier or require expedited shipping, please contact me to discuss available options.

    📬 Delivery Times

    • Standard Delivery: 3–5 business days.

    🖼️ Returns & Exchanges

    • Timeframe: If you're not delighted with your purchase, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your artwork.

    • Condition: To be eligible for a return or exchange, the artwork must be in new, pristine condition, including all original packaging, certificates of authenticity, and any accompanying materials.

    • Process: Once I receive your return request, I will respond within 1–2 business days with instructions.

    💸 Refunds & Restocking Fee

    • Restocking Fee: A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

    • Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.

    • Processing: Refunds will be processed within 2–3 business days after the returned artwork is received and inspected.

    📦 Return Shipping

    • Responsibility: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please ensure the artwork is securely packaged and insured for the full purchase amount.

    • Tracking: A tracking number is required to confirm the return.

    • Shipping Method: Please use a reliable carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) to ensure safe delivery.

    🎨 Custom & Commissioned Artwork

    • Policy: All sales of custom or commissioned artwork are final.

    • Reasoning: Due to the personalized nature of these pieces, they cannot be resold.

    • Agreement: A contract outlining the scope, timeline, and expectations is provided before commencement.

    🛍️ Sale & Discounted Items

    • Final Sale: Items purchased on sale or with a discount are non-returnable and non-refundable.

    📩 Initiating a Return or Exchange

    Please contact me via the Contact Page with the subject line "Return/Exchange Request." Include:

    • Order Number: Found in your confirmation email.

    • Reason for Return/Exchange: Briefly describe why you're requesting a return or exchange.

    • Photos: If applicable, include photos of the artwork and packaging.

  • 🎨 Custom-Commissioned Artwork Contract

    Thank you for considering a custom painting by Amy Boardman Art. Each piece is a unique creation, tailored to your vision and crafted with care. To ensure a smooth and transparent process, please review the following guidelines:

    🖌️ Section 1: Artistic Rights & Use

    • Ownership: Upon completion, you own the physical artwork. However, Amy Boardman retains the copyright, granting you personal use rights only. Commercial use or reproduction requires prior written consent.

    • Reposting: You're welcome to share images of your commissioned artwork on social media, provided you credit @AmyBoardmanArt and retain the artist's signature.

    • Prohibited Actions: Altering, reproducing, or claiming the artwork as your own is prohibited. Violations may result in termination of future commissions.

    💳 Section 2: Payment Terms

    • Payment Options: Full payment is required upfront or through a payment plan. Accepted methods include:

      • Squarespace Payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, UnionPay, Apple Pay, Afterpay/Clearpay, Klarna, ACH (U.S. only) .

      • PayPal: Available for U.S. customers.

      • Square: For in-person transactions via the Square app.

    • Payment Deadlines: Payment is due within 24 hours of receiving a sketch or quote.

    • Refund Policy:

      • Before Work Begins: Full refund.

      • During Draft Concept Phase: 90% refund.

      • During Sketching Phase: 50% refund.

      • During Painting Phase: No refund.

      • Restocking Fee: A 25% fee applies to returns, excluding shipping and handling.

    • Cancellation Rights: I reserve the right to cancel the commission at any time, with a full refund if I cannot complete it. If communication delays progress, I may cancel the commission, adhering to the refund policy.

    📸 Section 3: Submission Guidelines

    • Photo Quality: Provide clear, high-resolution, non-pixelated images. The quality of the reference photo directly impacts the final artwork.

    • Pet Portraits: Include at least one front-facing photo.

    • Usage Rights: Ensure you have the rights or permission to use the photos provided.

    • Additional Subjects: For multi-subject commissions, an additional fee of 1/3 the cost of the painting applies per subject.

    🎨 Section 4: Artistic Scope & Content

    • Subject Matter: I specialize in various subjects but do not replicate other artists' work or accept offensive content.

    • Offensive Content: Requests deemed offensive or outside my artistic values will be declined.

    • Age Requirement: Clients must be 18+ years old.

    🛠️ Section 5: Workflow & Communication

    • Estimated Completion: Typically 3 days to 2 weeks, depending on size and complexity.

    • Delays: Unforeseen circumstances like weather or health issues may cause delays.

    • Work-in-Progress (WIP): I may provide updates for your approval. Timely feedback is essential to avoid delays.

    • Revisions:

      • Major Changes: After sketch approval, major changes incur a fee starting at $50 per change, plus $50/hour for additional revisions.

      • Minor Edits: Adjustments to color, tone, or shading are included at no extra cost.

    • Sharing Your Art: I may share WIPs online unless you request otherwise.

    • Reproduction Rights: I retain the rights for promotional use and reproductions. Exclusive rights can be discussed for an additional fee.
