Artistic Journey
Amy Boardman Art
I create paintings inspired by the natural beauty of creation, the charm of the South, and many places and moments I’ve experienced through travel or relocation that have shaped my artistic perspective. Based in Huntsville, Alabama, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, I paint coastal seascapes, a variety of landscapes—especially countryside scenes, boats, still lifes, pet portraits, and everyday moments. My paintings are a blend of interpretive realism in my watercolor and expressive realism in my acrylic, inviting gratitude, wonder, and joy reflected in the quiet beauty of life and the gifts woven into each day.
My studio sidekick, Ki-Lani, reminds me daily that joy is found in both the big and small moments. Through my art, I hope to inspire you to pause, see with fresh eyes, and embrace life’s fleeting moments with a grateful heart.
