Amy Boardman Art

I create paintings inspired by the natural beauty of creation, the charm of the South, and many places and moments I’ve experienced through travel or relocation that have shaped my artistic perspective. Based in Huntsville, Alabama, nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, I paint coastal seascapes, a variety of landscapes—especially countryside scenes, boats, still lifes, pet portraits, and everyday moments. My paintings are a blend of interpretive realism in my watercolors and expressive realism in my acrylics, inviting gratitude, wonder, and joy reflected in the quiet beauty and miracles of life, as well as the gifts woven into the present.

My studio sidekick, Ki-Lani, reminds me daily that joy is found in both the big and small moments. Through my art, I hope to inspire you to pause, see with fresh eyes, reflect, and embrace life’s fleeting moments and the gift of the present with a grateful heart.
